Quadrasphere Procedure

Dave's next procedure will be Tuesday at 1:00, afterwards they will keep him overnight for observation.

When they did his mapping last week they found that Dave's anatomy is different on his liver and they won't be able to do SIR Spheres at this time.  (His oncologist said that now we have proof that Dave's a weirdo :) )  Dave has a terrific Interventional Radiologist and he isn't going to give up on it, but until he can figure out a way for it to be done, he wants Dave to undergo a direct chemo to his liver called Quadraspheres.  He said it is good, but usually not as effective as the SIR Spheres.  The side effects should just be a lot of fatigue.  I'm hoping everything goes a lot better than it did last time.  We appreciate your prayers and support.

I found this little video on YouTube that helps explain the Quadraspheres, they say it's a clinical trial, but they don't do clinical trials at the CTCA, so it must be approved now.
