So today was my second chemo treatment, Kristin and I are sick of the word cancer and my mom has been giving me lots of Cd's on visualizing the chemo and white blood cells killing the cancer. So I decided to visualize the cancer as little weak nerdy sockless loafer wearers I figured they should be pretty easy for the chemo to kill.
So far the chemo hasn't been to bad and I feel like I am definitely getting the upper hand on this crap.
I have my fanny pack for the next few days pumping in chemo. Gracie said it is my purse and it is very pretty.
I appreciate all the prayers and support from everybody I know with your help the weak nerdy sockless loafer wearers don't have a chance

Dave, the power of positive thinking, that's it!!!You're going to kick the loafers right off their feet. I can hear them screaming! They'll regret messing with you!
ReplyDeleteKristin, you are amazing! I can't imagine the toll this must be taking on you and your family. I am so glad you have such a positive and healthy husband, you will both make it through this for sure!
ReplyDeleteRemind me not to show up at your house sockless and wearing loafers cuz I would hate to be on the receiving end of your wrath! You are SO amazing Dave! You and Kristin continue to impress me with your strength and courage! Keep it up and I know it's only a matter of time before you send this crap packing.

ReplyDeleteI took a little time off from blogs to adjust to 6 kids and I was catching up and found this news! I have cried and prayed for you and your beautiful family as I have read all of your posts about Dave's cancer. Fortunately for him I know he is married to a very strong woman and that together, with the Lord's help, you are going to kick this nasty cancer in the butt! You will be daily in our thoughts and prayers. Much love. Heather
