I went in for my seventh treatment today. It went good I would be lying if I said I am having fun or not getting extremely tired of all of this. But I guess I am handling the treatments well and I am still able to do things and run. I have worked up to about 5 1/2 miles a day on the treadmill and I think it really helps to minimize the chemo side affects.
So I met with the doctor before my treatment today and he had the results for my latest ct scan. It wasn't completely clean but it looked much much better. I have 3 primary spots on my liver and a few tiny spots. But with this ct scan the tiny spots were gone and the 3 spots (Which were about the size of a dime) are now about the size of a pencil eraser. That is a huge improvement and the Dr said I am responding very well to the chemo. When you look at a liver which is about the size of a football.three little pencil eraser spots don't seem very big. I am sure the remaining treatments will take care of the crappy cells and I will be good as new.
Once again I really appreciate all the thoughts and prayers I know that without them the results wouldn't be nearly as good.
That's such good news Dave! I know this will all just be a memory that's not so fond soon.
